Voyage Pal — Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Voyage Pal is a trip-planning and booking app operated by TCI ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data we collect through the Voyage Pal mobile app and website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

2. Data we collect

Account information

Push notification token	Send booking updates and trip reminders

Flight booking — passenger details

Data	Purpose
Title, Gender, Date of Birth, First/Last name, Nationality	Required by airlines to issue a valid ticket
Special Assistance (yes/no)	Passed to the airline to arrange accessibility support
Phone number, Email, Address	Booking confirmation and itinerary contact

Hotel booking — guest details

Data	Purpose
Title, First/Last name, Phone, Email	Required by the property to check you in

Payments

Payments are processed by Flutterwave, our payment processor. We store the transaction reference, amount, and status returned by Flutterwave — we do not store your full card number.

3. How we share data

Passenger and guest details are shared only with the parties needed to fulfil a booking:

Airlines and hotel suppliers (via our booking partners) to issue tickets and reservations
Flutterwave, to process payment
Service providers who host our infrastructure

We do not sell personal data.

4. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between the app, our servers, and our partners. Sensitive personal fields (date of birth, nationality, and special assistance status) are additionally encrypted at rest in our database. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

5. Data retention

We retain booking records for as long as needed to support your trips, handle disputes, and meet accounting/legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data from within the app (Settings → Privacy & Security) or by contacting us below. Some data may be retained where required by law (e.g. completed transaction records).

7. Children

Voyage Pal is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever this policy changes materially.
